Dear friend, Brian Pallister is, once again, placing blame on others for his own actions. The delay in getting the Hydro transmission line to Minnesota has to do with his PC Government ripping up a previously arranged agreement with the Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF) and not doing proper consultations with First Nations communities.
AMBULANCE FEES Pallister's PCs are doing a bait and switch on its promise to reduce ambulance fees. We obtained a copy of an invoice from a patient who was charged $340 for an ambulance transfer from the Birthing Centre to St. Boniface Hospital in June 2018. The PCs budget shows there is no change in ambulance revenues despite the promise to reduce fees. Pallister has frozen health spending at 2016 levels, and now he is forcing vulnerable Manitobans to dig into their own pockets to make up the slack. MANITOBA LIBERAL PLAN FOR GREEN GROWTH & RENEWAL The clean energy economy is growing faster than the economy as a whole, and it only makes sense that Manitoba takes full advantage of that. As a province, we must do more on the climate crisis with a plan that is practical and sustainable. The Manitoba Liberal Plan for Green Growth and Renewal will make Manitoba a leader in clean energy. HAPPY PRIDE! Manitoba Liberals will be marching proudly in the Parade on Sunday, June 2nd. Following the parade there will be a booth at the PrideMart at the Forks. We are looking for volunteers to help out with the booth! Manitoba Liberals are also proud to share with you the creation of the Manitoba Liberal Gender Sexual and Relationship Diverse Association. This is the first of its kind in Manitoba and the new association will seek out and raise funds for GSRD candidates while supporting greater involvement of GSRD members in the Manitoba Liberal Party. If you are interested in helping out at Pride or interested in joining the GSRD association, you can contact us by visiting the MLP website.
If you believe in what we are doing, please SHARE it. Forward this e-mail, like and share our pages and posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. All the best, Dougald Lamont MLA St. Boniface, Leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party
