We will be featuring guest speaker: Sean Loney.

Since co-founding the social enterprise BUILD in Winnipeg's inner city in 2006, Shaun has learned a lot about how governments can work with nonprofits to solve social problems.  He has come to realize that Winnipeg's defining issue is connecting the people who most need the work with the work that most needs to be done.  To that end, he has worked with others to establish the Social Enterprise Centre, Purpose Construction, Aki Foods, Aki Energy and most recently www.encompass.coop.  Now he's bringing this experience to vie for the Mayor's chair in the 2022 municipal election.  Join us to hear how Shaun plans to address homelessness in Winnipeg and how these same tools can help remove lead pipes from Winnipeg homes.  For more information you can visit www.shaunloney.ca
