MLP 2021 Policy Incubator: Beyond The Perimeter

COVID-19 has exposed some of the long-standing problems facing Rural Manitobans.

This Policy Incubator will examine some of the ways that we can address these problems.

Our MLAs will update you on the oingoing issues facing Manitobans.

Topics will include:

• How COVID-19 is Affecting Rural Manitoba
• Rural Manitoba Main Streets
• Rural Economic Development
• Crown Lands Crisis

As we do with all of our policy incubators, we will bring in a panel of experts to share their knowledge with us.

We will then break out into groups to discuss what we have heard and to draft policy ideas.

These policy ideas will form the basis for our policy development.
