Charles Ward is a born and raised Winnipegger from Crestview who attended Lakewood School and Hedges Middle School and graduated from John Taylor Collegiate in the early 80’s. Once an active rugby player, he spent much of his time traveling the world with the sport.

Charles decided to enter politics after losing his mother to COVID at Maples Care home in the fall of 2020, and then his wife in 2023 at the Grace Hospital.
Now raising alone his 19 year old daughter, to honour their legacy Charles wants to make sure no Manitoban again sees the same suffering.

A cyber security professional with many years experience working in the USA and Canada and as an overseas fixer, Charles now manages an award-winning team helping protect the IT security interests of government and corporate organizations.
As an MLA, Charles will bring decades of experience helping Fortune 500 organizations recover from disaster, and years of experience as a forensic auditor, to fix the issues that chronic government neglect have brought to Manitoba.
