Jason Harper is from St. Theresa Point First Nation, one of the many fly-in communities in Keewatinook.
Jason has been involved in his community since he was young. Having received an award as a community mentor, being elected as a youth council member in his community and as the youth regional male representative for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, Jason has been advocating for his community for a very long time. Jason is passionate about the issues faced by First Nations in Manitoba, such as:
Adequate Treatment Centers
East side winter and all-season roads
Youth and mentorship programs
Better equipment for Jordan's Principle clients
Housing/water and sewage programs
Jason brings a wealth of experience to the table and he understands the issues his constituency faces. A vote for Jason sends a message to the government that the priorities in Northern Manitoba should be on the agenda.
