for Union Station
Harold Davis has been a long-time resident of the Union Station constituency, where he and his wife Karma raised their youngest child and where he has spent much of his working life. A capital markets forecaster and commodity price expert, he has been a guest lecturer at the U of M and the University of Saskatchewan.
Harold has been an active volunteer with the Winnipeg Railway Museum, as a guide and in helping restore major pieces for public viewing.
Harold’s most important political concerns are for the young, who do not enjoy the same wealth of opportunity as their parents and grandparents, and are facing climate change as an immediate fact of life. The Manitoba Liberal Party's plan for Green Growth and Renewal provides a framework for addressing both by investing in sustainable jobs and cleaning up the environment.
Harold believes Union Station is an inclusive community of many cultures, backgrounds and orientations that functions on cooperation, not confrontation, and is one that is ready for a Manitoba Liberal MLA.
