The Christmas season - a time for reflection and a time for family

The wonderful part of spending several days in the mountains over Christmas is the opportunity to appreciate their grandeur, to reflect on the incredible world we live in - from the inquisitive deer to the amazing mountains and sundogs - and to set aside, for a few short days many of the normal demands of our busy lives. Reflection on how we are connected to our world and to our family are important to us. For us this winter, at Kicking Horse, near Golden B.C. it was also a time to experience the out of doors, to get some exercise (hey I even tried snowboarding) and just to enjoy our family.
