Youth Parliament of Manitoba

Each year between Christmas and New Year the Youth Parliament of Manitoba meets for three days to discuss a wide variety of issues in the Manitoba Legislature, and to have fun. This year the number of young people involved was more than it has been for some time.

Congratulations to the Parliamentary Executive shown with me in the top photo. From left to right those in the photo are Akosua Matthews (Deputy Speaker), Amy Dhillon (Deputy Premier), myself, Katie Szilagyi (Premier), Matt Bolley (House Leader) and Speaker (Dana Gregoire).

Congratulations to all who participated. There were youth from all over Manitoba - which is excellent.
