Sydney Stuart Onchulenko - a gem of a man

Today, in Altona, I attended a celebration of the life of Syd Onchulenko (1950-2007). Syd, the owner of Altona Jewellers, and a former President of the Emerson Liberal Association was a good friend and he will be missed. His daughter, Pamela, a teacher in Winnipeg, gave a moving tribute to her father.

The service was led by the Reverend Dr. Leslie Calder who put it well "In a world of division, Syd had open arms for all."
