Spirited Energy

Like many Manitobans I was initially quite sceptical about the new provincial slogan - spirited energy.

That being said, I must admit I like the use of the colour red in the large signs adorning the Winnipeg Art Gallery (top) and the University of Winnipeg (bottom). Red is the colour of action, of excitement and of energy. Red is also the colour of our Manitoba Liberal Party - a party of action, excitement and energy.

Manitoba has been seen for some time as a laid back province. It is about time we moved to a new level of action, excitement and energy.
