Liberals say no free ride to NDP

Yesterday, the NDP failed to get eleven bills through the Manitoba Legislature. While the Conservatives were ready to do whatever the NDP wanted, as Liberals we stood up to say - no free rides.

The NDP were sloppy in putting together their legislative agenda, they were poorly organized and arrogant and their refusal to call a public inquiry into the Crocus Investment Fund is unacceptable.

When it came down to the last day of the session, Gary Doer and the NDP had managed things so badly that they needed leave to get bills through. Kevin Lamoureux and I said no.
