The Manitoba Teachers' Society - Annual Dinner

Last night at the Manitoba Teachers' Society Annual Dinner Alex Boyes was provided an honourary membership in recognition of his efforts over many years.

A creative thinker who managed to change the schedule at his school so students would have Wednesday afternoon off (by adding on time elsewhere in the week), Alex Boyes is also known for his comments like "We don't teach english or mathematics or social studies, we teach students."

Congratulations to Alex Boyes, and also to Coralie Wylie who also received a life membership.
